Linksys EZXS16W EtherFast 10/100 16-Port Workgroup SwitchDelivery was fast, installation was simple and unit automatically connected every one in the workgroup without any problems. Some PC's were running Win XP and one is running Vista, they all connect to an SBC Global Gateway for their internet connection through the switch. Switch does not generate much heat.
Have to call customer service couple of times they told me to send then back for a replacement without even they paying the shipping cost. I bought this Linksys EtherFast 10/100 16-Port Workgroup Switch from Amazon for my small business office. It worked for 2 months without any issue and it stoped working since then. I decided to buy another replacement switch instead of getting an old replacement from Linksys.
This product was very simple to setup and it works flawlessly.I would highly recomend it.Sincerely,Phil
I was looking for more ports, in a form factor to match my existing linksys stack which includes a cable modem, and a Wireless G router with a few ports. THis is just a great value. I now have 16 more ports sitting on top of my stack, at a VERY reasonable price, and I have all the expansion I need for YEARS. I've got 5 PC's and a network printer, storage, blah blah blah. and kept my compact stack intact. Love it.
I don't feel the heat out of it like other people say about other switches. I have this switch for 6 months. It may be because the box is big. It is always on. No problem so far. You cannot directly feel the heat on the box. But so far so good.
